I keep telling everyone to come to The Con, but no one listens. It's not that expensive if you plan ahead and save up for it. This year my round trip fare was less than $200 and by sharing a room, I spent four nights in San Diego at The Westin for about $60 a night. It's probably a ten or fifteen minute walk to the Convention Center.
Since I consider this my vacation I think it's a pretty good deal. It's time for me to make reservations for next year [img]wink.gif[/img]
I need to try and convince Cook to go to that, but its twice the money for us since we go as a couple. I'd love to make it to that show at least once in my life! the Florida one was fun and I made it to that one twice
